It features Ethic's unique Oracle headset design, which is specifically developed for freestyle with optimized geometry, ball sizes, and tolerances. The standard steel balls have been replaced by high-precision Grade 5 Ceramic (Si3N4) balls, which are 20% more resistant and twice as hard as high-performance steel, resulting in significantly lower friction and smoother handlebar turns. The headset includes a unique top cap concept with direct contact between the handlebar and a 7075 T6 aluminum compression ring, surrounded by a silicone top cap, which eliminates the break-in phase and reduces the need for frequent tightening. Weighing only 46-52 grams (1.6-1.8 oz), it is one of the lightest headsets available, offering a weight saving of almost 30% compared to standard headsets. This integrated 1 1/8" headset is compatible with threadless forks, but its compression ring is not compatible with IHC compression systems. It also features sealed bearings to prevent dirt and water from entering.
